An intro to the blog as a place for study notes, tech notes, projects, and deeper learning — the things worth slowing down for.

Intro

Heya! This is an intro to my blog that I intend to maintain as my study and tech notes.

I do watch, read and do a bunch of stuff but most of it goes undocumented or it’s passive learning.

Having in a notes format, will help me focus on the ones that I judge more important to sit down, pay more attention to it and actually learn properly the topic.

This will include some books that I plan to read, some courses that I’m doing and videos that I watch and feel the need that “ok, this one needs more attention to it”.

It should also include some steps and ideas for projects that I plan to work as a “build to learn” kind of thing, some of those includes a finance planner with insights that I miss on other platforms, a groceries shopping list that I plan to build with real time updates and notifications to share with my partner and share some stuff that I want to test AI on it, not only by using it to help me code and stuff, but to include AI as to build a feature with it.

As stated on my landing page, I’m a software developer with a mostly frontend focused, but right now, I’m on the step where I need to diverse my skills a bit to be more generalist, which will make me better prepared to deliver solutions end to end and move a step further to be a staff engineer.

See ya soon with some notes about the book “Staff Engineer: Leadership beyond the management track”.

Best,
Pedro M.
